A: Like most writers, I love reading and have devoured my fair share of light novels and fan translations. But the lack of resistance that the main characters would encounter and the number of brain cells going unused in a lot of the stories I tend to be drawn to have often left me wanting. To satiate this craving I decided to try my hand at writing the stories myself.
Q: What are we to expect from your novels?
A: I would like to create fantasy novels with healthy, supportive relationships, brimming with character and with a generous helping of gratuitous violence. I am also a huge fan of the Daoist cultivation in Wuxia novels, so expect slow, gradual increases in power.
Q: Where are you as a writer on the Grimdark-Hopepunk spectrum?
A: My love for ruthless pragmatism and people doing what they believe is right draws me to the middle of the spectrum. I aim to put a bit of both in my stories, but in the end I do consider them to be on the hopeful side.
